OFFICIAL INVITATION
for participation at the exhibition “PERSONAL STRUCTURES” as organized by the GAA Foundation and hosted by the European Cultural Centre Hereby the GAA Foundation confirms the invitation for Eugen Schütz to be part of the Exhibition “PERSONAL STRUCTURES”. This exhibition is organized in the context of the Venice Biennale and runs from 13 May until 26 November 2017.
The exhibition will be visited by over 300.000 visitors with free entry for all. Our Foundation will financially support your participation however, we cannot cover all costs involved by ourselves. In order to create a fair cost sharing system we have no other option than to ask for financial support from your side. In order to make this invitation valid, the invited participant will compensate the GAA Foundation with a to be agreed upon exhibition support amount.
This required exhibition support amount will co-finance all services provide for the exhibition a.o.: Access and use of the agreed upon space in the European Cultural Centre to place one or more sculptures, the proper functioning of all utilities, general cleaning, qualified personnel for installing, handling, maintenance and dismantling the exhibition, food, drinks and organization for the two large VIP preview events, all obligatory exhibition permits, sufficient quantity and quality lights, etc), all publicity, press, banners, totem, flyers, etc., mailing of an international mailing list for invitations and pr. (over 38.000 addresses), collecting and providing data of people who are interested in contact with the artist or gallery representation, handling all communication with the Venice Biennale office, producing and providing a hardcover catalogue approx. 400 page with a page(s) dedicated to you. In addition the GAA-Foundation will assist with customs formalities, shipping and finding accommodation in Venice.
THE ORGANIZERS
The GAA-Foundation is a Dutch controlled Non-Profit Foundation which was founded in 2002 in New
York, USA, by Rene Rietmeyer. Since 2009 the Foundation is based in the Netherlands with a branch
in Venice, Italy. The GAA-Foundation has worldwide organized 42 exhibitions and 9 symposia.

Empfehlungsschreiben für die Teilnahme von Eugen Schütz, Bildhauer aus Vaihingen an der 57. Biennale di Venezia
Sehr geehrte Damen und Herren, wir freuen uns sehr, dass unser langjähriges Künstlermitglied Eugen Schütz von der gemeinnützigen, niederländischen Organisation „Global Art Affairs“ eingeladen worden ist, ein Werk im Rahmen der Ausstellung “Personal Structures” im European Cultural Center in Venedig zu zeigen. Die Ausstellung ist Teil der 57. Biennale di Venezia und wird lt. Aussage der Organisatoren von rund 300.000 Menschen jährlich besucht, erfährt also breites internationales Echo.
Die Teilnahme an dieser weltweit bekannten und auch in Fachkreisen sehr anerkannten Kunstbiennale ist für jeden Künstler eine große Ehre und dient als Sprungbrett für seine Karriere.
Wir freuen uns sehr, dass die Organisation Global Art Affairs im nächsten Jahr den Fokus auf Skulptur legt und speziell Bildhauern eine Plattform bieten möchte. Damit verhilft sie der Skulptur international zu mehr Wahrnehmung und Aufmerksamkeit, sowohl in Fachkreisen als auch in der breiten Öffentlichkeit. Diese Absicht deckt sich mit unseren Zielen.
sculpture network ist Europas führende Plattform für dreidimensionale Kunst - eine in Deutschland angesiedelte, gemeinnützige Organisation zur aktiven Förderung und Unterstützung zeitgenössischer Skulptur. Aktuell zählt sculpture network 1.000 Mitglieder in 40 Ländern, darunter rund 800 Bildhauer.
Wir unterstützen die Ausstellungbeteiligung von Eugen Schütz und werden darüber auch in unserem internationalen Netzwerk berichten.
